New TVS Apache Launch Towards End Of 2014
TVS Apache, the flagship product from TVS, has been confirmed to receive an update, according to group chairman Venu Srinivasan, speaking during the launch of the Star City+.
The new TVS Apache would be launched towards the end of this year, during the last quarter. The company did not divulge any further information.
Nevertheless, we could take an educated guess about the what could be new in the updated Apache.
We can be certain that the next-gen Apache will utilise some of the features and technology showcased in the Draken concept at the auto expo.

A few notable features found in the Draken included an active matrix digital instrument panel, LED headlamps and tail lamps, daytime running lights, ABS, an offset monoshock at the rear and a ‘reverse flow' exhaust system, with the outlet placed right under the engine. And last, but not the least, the concept motorcycle was built on an aluminium trellis frame.
While the new Apache will definitely not receive all of the new technology from the Draken, it is likely to incorporate into its design few of the less expensive elements such as monoshocks, LED headlamps and perhaps, just perhaps, under mounted exhausts, like in the Pulsar 200NS and KTM Dukes.

Also expect the new Apache to get a sportier and more aggressive stance than the present model.
Can you think of anything that you would want to be changed or rectified in the existing TVS Apache? Let us know.
