Mahindra Set To Launch Two New Bikes In January
Mahindra 2 Wheelers, the scooter and motorcycle division of Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing the ground for the launch of two new motorcycles in India. The company might not have proved to be a major player with its first product, the Stallio 110cc motorcycle which was suspended after several technical glitches. But the company is keen to bounce back with new products.
The first among the two new Mahindra 2 wheelers will be the Pantero 110cc commuter motorcycle. The Pantero can be considered as an updated version of the Stallio. Mahindra has worked close to two years on solving all the problems found in the Stallio and also add some design improvements to develop its new entry level motorcycle.
Mahindra has been testing the Pantero in India since several months and it is highly unlikely that it would delay its launch. You can view the spy shots of the Pantero we had shared with you earlier here.

Mahindra had hinted at the revival of the Stallio by displaying it at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. Probably this was the last time the Stallio was displayed officially.

The most notable feature of the Mojo is its dual headlights.
The second motorcycle from Mahindra 2 wheelers that we expect to be launched this month is the sports motorcycle Mojo. The Mojo was displayed as a concept bike as a market study and it appears that the Mojo is now on its way to become a full production ready model.
The Mahindra Mojo is powered by a 299cc four stroke engine that delivers peak power of 28PS of power. The engine is mated to a six speed manual gearbox. The Mahindra Mojo will take on 250cc motorcycles such as the Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Honda CBR 250 R and the Hyosung GT 250 R.
