New Mahindra Pantero (Stallio) Spy Shots Revealed
The Mahindra Stallio is all set to get a new name. Bikeadvice.in has revealed spy shots of a new 110cc bike being developed by Mahindra 2 Wheelers. The bike which carries the name Pantero is also a 110cc motorcycle and could well be the new Mahindra Stallion, but with a different name.
The Mahindra Stallio was not a huge success with several complaints from customers resulting in the company pulling the bike out of showrooms in early 2011 itself. Mahindra 2 Wheelers has since been working on rectifying many of the issues plaguing its bike.
Mahindra 2 Wheelers had previously stated that it would relaunch the Stallio but with all the bad press around the Stallio name, it appears that Mahindra has decided to not to use the Stallio name. Here are the Mahindra Pantero Spy Shots revealed by Bikeadvice.in.
Bike Advice.in has revealed these spy shots of the new Mahindra Pantero 110cc bike. The design does not appear to be too different from that of the Stallio.
The Mahindra Pantero could be the updated and renamed version of the stalled Stallio 110cc motorcycle.
The Mahindra Stallio was launched in October 2010 but did not stay for too long in the market. Mahindra 2 wheelers took it off the shelves in February 2011.
Mahindra had hinted at the revival of the Stallio during the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo by displaying the motorcycle along with the Mojo concept bike.
The Stallio was powered by a 106cc single cylinder engine that developed 7.3bhop of power and 8Nm of torque. The engine was paired with a four speed manual gearbox. It is highly unlikely that any of these will be changed in the Mahindra Pantero.
