Hero Vida VX2: Top 5 Highlights You Must Know
Hero's electric division, Vida, has introduced the VX2, a more budget-friendly electric scooter aimed at families. The VX2 is available in two variants: Go and Plus. The Go variant starts at Rs 59,490 with the Battery as a Subscription (BaaS) plan, while the Plus model costs Rs 1.10 lakh when purchased with batteries included.
Vida VX2: Battery Specs, Charging, & Range
The Vida VX2 offers a BaaS option for both its Go and Plus models. The Go variant features a 2.2kWh battery with a claimed range of 92km, whereas the Plus variant has a larger 3.4kWh battery offering up to 142km. Hero claims that the running cost for these models is just Rs 0.96 per kilometre.

Using the provided 580W charger, the Go variant's battery charges fully in approximately 3 hours and 53 minutes, while the Plus takes around 5 hours and 39 minutes for a full charge. Fast charging allows both variants to reach from 0-80 percent in one hour and from 0-100 percent in two hours.
Vida VX2: Design
The design of the Vida VX2 is distinct from its predecessor, the V2, with a focus on family use. It features smooth lines, a near-flat single-piece seat, and a pillion backrest. The headlight, tail light, and indicators are shared with the V2 model. Additionally, an accessory plastic frunk is available on the front apron.
Vida VX2: Storage Space, Wheels, & Brakes
The Go variant includes a spacious 33.2-litre boot space due to its single battery setup. In contrast, the Plus variant has a slightly smaller underseat storage capacity of 27.2 litres to accommodate two batteries. Both models come equipped with fast-charging capabilities.
The VX2 models share many components including their wheels; both run on 12-inch wheels at both ends. The Go variant features a front drum brake as revealed by teaser images prior to launch.
Vida VX2: Performance Specifications
The top speed for the Go variant is claimed to be 70kph, while the Plus can reach up to 80kph. The Go model comes with an LCD display measuring 4.3 inches, whereas the Plus boasts a TFT dash of the same size.
Both variants include connectivity features and use physical keys for operation. Riding modes differ between them; Eco and Ride modes are available on both models but only the Plus includes an additional Sport mode.
Vida VX2: Pricing & Colour Options
The Vida VX2 is offered in seven colours: blue, black, yellow, red, white, grey, and orange—the latter two being exclusive to the Plus variant. Pricing for these scooters varies based on whether they are purchased with or without BaaS.
| Variant | BaaS Price (Rs) | Without BaaS Price (Rs) |
|---|---|---|
| Go | 59,490 | 99,490 |
| Plus | 64,990 | 1.10 lakh |
If purchased through BaaS and battery performance drops below 70%, Hero will replace it free of charge.
