Engine
The newly launched Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE motorcycle is powered by a 776cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, equipped with a 270-degree crank. This engine in the V-Storm 800 DE delivers 83bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 78Nm at 6,800 rpm.

Gearbox
To fully utilise the power and torque from the parallel-twin engine, the new Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE adventure motorcycle uses a 6-speed gearbox. Furthermore, the model comes equipped with a bi-directional quick-shifter as standard, enhancing the overall riding experience.
Suspension
The new Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE is built on a new platform derived from the GSX-8S. This model comes equipped with fully adjustable Showa USD forks at the front and Showa mono suspension at the rear. The suspension travel at both front and back is rated at 220mm.

Tyres & Brakes
The newly launched Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE features a large 21-inch spoked front wheel and a smaller 17-inch rear spoked wheel. Braking-wise, the model comes equipped with twin 310mm discs at the front, coupled with a 260mm disc at the rear, essential for stopping a bike weighing 230kg.
