Ather Rizta Proves Durability & Safety – Latest Teaser Shocks The Internet
Ather Energy is less than a month away from launching the all-new Rizta electric scooter in India. To attract more buyers, Ather is coming up with new teasers to engage potential customers.
Following the teasers related to the large seat of the Ather Rizta electric scooter, the company has now released a teaser that proves the durability and safety of the battery pack used in the Rizta electric scooter.

In the teaser video, the battery pack of the Ather Rizta electric scooter is dropped on the ground from a height of 40 feet. Surprisingly, the battery pack of the Ather Rizta electric scooter not only survives the fall but seems to have almost no damage.
That being said, the upcoming Ather Rizta electric scooter is expected to be launched on April 6. Also, we expect the Ather Rizta to sport an all-new platform, given it is at least a size bigger than the Ather 450 range of electric scooters.

However, we do expect the powertrain and battery pack of the Ather Rizta to be similar to one of Ather's 450 range of electric scooters. In fact, we expect the Ather Rizta to sport the same powertrain setup as the more affordable Ather 450S electric scooter.
If so, the upcoming Ather Rizta electric scooter will come equipped with a 5.4kW (7.24bhp) electric motor with 22Nm of torque. Furthermore, the model will be fitted with Ather's tried-and-tested 2.9kWh battery pack.

Using this powertrain setup, the Ather 450S electric scooter is able to reach a top speed of 90km/h and cover 115km on a fully charged battery pack. Also, charging time using the standard home charger stands at 6 hours and 36 minutes for charging up to 80% battery capacity.
In terms of features, we expect the Ather Rizta electric scooter to mimic the features of the Ather 450S electric. This means the Rizta will come equipped with a "DeepView Display" instead of a full-colour LCD instrument.
Thoughts About The Ather Rizta Electric Scooter
We expect Ather Rizta to quickly gain momentum in the electric scooter segment and significantly boost the sales figures of Ather Energy. As such, the launch of the Rizta electric scooter will give tough competition to the likes of Ola S1 and TVS iQube range of electric scooters.
