Ather Energy is planning big things for its upcoming Ather Community Day event that will take place on April 6. During this special day, Ather is already expected to launch its upcoming new family electric scooter, the Ather Rizta.
Though the Ather Rizta is expected to be the biggest announcement from Ather Energy on the upcoming Ather Community Day, the company has now released a new teaser of yet another exciting launch.
Ather Energy CEO, Tarun Mehta, teased the upcoming product on X with a short teaser video. He also wrote, "Say Halo👋 to this top secret accessory on April 6 at #AtherCommunityDay2024!".
From the teaser, we can see that the upcoming product from Ather Energy is not an electric scooter like the Rizta, but it is an all-new accessory. Moreover, this new accessory from Ather Energy will be called "Halo".
Analysing the name and the teaser video, we think the upcoming Ather Halo to be a smart helmet or an accessory to make helmets smart. However, the latter is unlikely to happen as the product will be in the grey areas of the law and complexity in designing a universal fitment.
As such, let us stick with the Halo being a new smart helmet from Ather Energy. If so, we expect some exciting features to be integrated into the Halo, including the likes of Bluetooth connectivity, Headsup display, navigation, and a few connected techs as well.
This product also has a lot of potential, if developed in the right manner. Also, we expect many modern buyers like to stay connected and such a smart helmet will be a great option for many people in India.
