After a long wait and many speculations on the internet, Ather Energy unveiled its new Ather Halo range of smart helmets. At present, there are two variants of the Ather Halo helmets - A premium full-faced model 'Halo' and a more affordable half-face model called 'Halo Bit'.

According to Ather Energy, the Ather Halo smart helmet took a lot of time to develop and refine. The company also added that they had to develop the Halo smart helmet inside out.

So, starting with the inside, the Ather Halo smart helmet features soft and snug interior padding, which according to Ather will not cause any inconvenience even when wearing spectacles. Ather also claims the padding is designed not to cause any soreness on the ears.

On the outside, Ather claims the Halo helmet sports a beautiful and ergonomic shell with signature ather-like styling with neatly integrated vents. Ather Energy also claims the visor does not emit the ratchet-like noise while repositioning.

Coming to the smart part, the Ather Halo helmet features Harman Kardon speakers along with a sound-damping feature which is specifically designed to make the user aware of surroundings while damping unwanted noise.

Thoughts About The Ather Halo

We expect the Ather Halo Bit helmets to sell in larger numbers compared to the more premium Ather Halo helmets. Also, we expect a majority of sales of these helmets to come from Rizta Z, Ather 450X, and Ather 450 Apex electric scooter users.
