Ather Rizta Electric Scooter Launched In India At Rs 1.10 Lakh – Available In 3 Variants
Ather Energy has launched the much-awaited Ather Rizta electric scooter in India. Prices for the newly launched Ather Rizta electric scooter start at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), and the model is available in 3 variants - Rizta S, Rizta Z, and Rizta Z (long range).
Starting with the most highlighting feature, Ather claims that the Rizta electric scooter comes with the biggest seat in the scooter segment. The underseat storage in the Ather Rizta is rated at 34 litres, making it one of the biggest and on par with the Ola S1 range of electric scooters.
However, Ather goes one up and has also provided a small pocket storage under the seat, where Ather Rizta users can keep smaller items such as keys, wallet, and even a rag cloth.
Ather Rizta S
Starting with the variants, the base Ather Rizta S variant comes equipped with a 2.9kWh battery pack and comes with IDC certified range of 123km. The top speed of this model is rated as 80km/h and it is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
Apart from that, the Ather Rizta S variant is offered in 3 shades - Pangong Blue, Deccan Grey and Siachen White. Also, the features in the new Rizta S reflect the 450 S with features such as a 7-inch segment display and turn-by-turn navigation.
The Rizta S takes 6 hours and 40 minutes to charge from 0-80 per cent. Also, it misses out on a few features such as a pillion backrest, Magic Twist, Skid Control, Document Storage, Live Location Sharing, Whatsapp preview, and Trip Planner even with the Pro Pack worth Rs 13,000.
Ather Rizta Z
On the other hand, the Rizta Z is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The performance, range and charging of this variant are identical to the Rizta S, but it comes in 7 shades and more features such as a 7-inch LCD display and the Pro pack comes as standard.
The standard fitment of the Pro Pack adds all the above features missing in the Ather Rizta S, and comes with even more features such as SmartEco mode, Bluetooth call & music control, Auto Hold, Fall Safe, Auto Indicator Cut-off, ESS, Google Maps, Real-time charging status, Alexa and much more.
Ather Rizta Z (long-range)
Finally, the top-spec Ather Rizta Z (long-range) model comes with a 3.7kWh battery pack, which gives it a certified range of 160km. While the performance of this variant is identical to the above models, charging to 80 per cent now takes just 4 hours and 30 minutes despite the bigger battery pack.
It is also worth mentioning that the top-spec Ather Rizta Z (long-range) model is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Also, all variants come with a 3-year/30,000km scooter and battery warranty. Customers can also boost their battery warranty to 5-year/60,000km with Ather Battery Protect.
Ather has also designed very useful accessories for the Ather Rizta electric scooter such as the Flexible frunk storage with 22 litres of space, a wireless charger, and an underseat organiser that neatly doubles up as a carry bag as well.
Ather has also claimed that the newly launched Ather Rizta can safely wade through 400mm of water and comes with an IP67 rating. Furthermore, all variants come with an Ather Duo charger as standard.
