Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition Launched In India At Rs 4.25 Lakh
Royal Enfield launched the much-awaited new-gen Himalayan motorcycle at its annual rider's event, the Motoverse. In a surprising turn of events, Royal Enfield also launched the Motoverse Edition of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 at Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
This newly launched Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition is a very special motorcycle as it is a limited-run production model. According to Royal Enfield, the new Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition is limited to just 25 units.
To make this extremely limited motorcycle even more special, the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse cannot be purchased straight away. To own this motorcycle, you have to be chosen by Royal Enfield.
In fact, the 25 lucky members who will get a chance to own the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition motorcycle will be chosen through a lucky draw. This means the lucky member should have also participated in the Motoverse event.
Speaking about the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition, the motorcycle features a special hand-painted colour scheme, and the engine casing is finished in Gloss Black. The latter is a first for a Royal Enfield motorcycle.
Apart from this, the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition will come with a few genuine Royal Enfield accessories as standard. These accessories include bar-end mirrors, and LED turn indicators. Additionally, the model also comes with an extended warranty and RSA service.
Powering the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition is the familiar 648cc, parallel-twin engine from the Super Meteor 650. This engine produces 47bhp, 52Nm of peak torque, and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
According to Royal Enfield, the deliveries of the newly launched Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition motorcycle are expected to commence in January 2024. Also, the continuous production version of the Shotgun 650 is expected to go on sale early next year.
