The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is one of the most-awaited motorcycles in India. Now, the automaker has teased the model ahead of its launch in the country to boost interest amongst its target audience.

Recently, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 also completed its 'Final Test', where a group of riders including the CEO of the company went on a motorcycle ride from Chennai to Umling La. The 5,000km journey was completed by the Upcoming Himalayan 452 without breaking a sweat.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 addresses one of the biggest weaknesses of the outgoing iteration of the Himalayan motorcycle - Peak power. In fact, the Himalayan 452 is more powerful than the outgoing Himalayan and it is expected to compete against the likes of adventure bikes such as the KTM 390 Adventure.

Speaking about the powertrain, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 sports an all-new 451.65cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm. On top of that, we expect this powertrain to produce 36 to 39Nm of peak torque as well.

Also, unlike the outgoing version of the Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle, the upcoming Himalayan 452 comes equipped with a 6-speed gearbox with Slip & Assist clutch for better mile-munching and smoother downshifts.

Coming to the design, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 looks more like an evolution of the outgoing Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle. In fact, a few of the noticeable design features include a fixed headlamp, a large fuel tank, split seats, and mid-set footpegs.

Features-wise, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 motorcycle will feature an all-new circular digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS tech, USD forks, a multi-adjustable mono rear shock and much more.

Apart from these advanced features, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is expected to come equipped with other advanced features such as multiple ride modes, and a traction control system (TCS).

As per the recently leaked homologation documents, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 motorcycle measures 2,245mm long, 852mm wide, and sports a wheelbase of 1,510mm. This makes the Himalayan 452 a bigger bike than the outgoing Himalayan motorcycle.
