In a recent revelation, the company has announced that as its final test, they will undertake the arduous journey of riding the forthcoming Himalayan 452 from Chennai to Umling La. Three Himalayan 452's will collectively travel the distance of 5,500 km with twenty-four different riders taking turns at the helm.

Renowned as the world's highest motorable road, Umling La is situated at a daunting elevation of 19,024 ft. Many vehicles have grappled with considerable issues climbing the Umling La due to the severe drop in oxygen levels at such heights which hamper the engine's performance. When Royal Enfield launched the Interceptor 650, it too experienced problems under such conditions, which were later fixed by an ECU update.
