The EICMA has always been very exciting, however, Kawasaki has made it a bit more electrifying this year by revealing the new Z7 Hybrid motorcycle. This makes the Kawasaki Z7 Hybrid, the second hybrid motorcycle from Kawasaki after the Ninja 7 Hybrid.
That being said, the new Kawasaki Z7 Hybrid is the naked version of the Kawasaki Ninaj 7 Hybrid. As such, here are the top 5 things you need to know about the newly unveiled Kawasaki Z7 Hybrid.

Engine
The new Kawasaki Z7 Hybrid motorcycle is powered by a 451cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, and a 12bhp traction motor. In combined form, this hybrid powertrain puts out 58.3bhp and 43.6Nm of peak torque.
However, the peak power output can be increased to 69bhp with the e-boost function. That being said, the energy for the electric motor is stored in a 48V lithium-ion battery pack.

Gearbox
The newly unveiled Kawasaki Z7 electric uses a 6-speed gearbox, however, unlike traditional motorcycles, this gearbox is a paddle-triggered AMT unit. As such, riders can choose between fully automatic and paddle-triggered modes to change gears while on the move.
EV Mode
Thanks to the fitment of the 48V lithium-ion battery pack in the new Kawasaki Z7 Hybrid, the motorcycle is more than capable of running in pure EV mode for up to 12 kilometres with the help of a 12bhp electric motor.

Suspension & Brakes
In terms of braking, the Kawasaki Z7 Hybrid uses twin 320mm disc brakes at the front and a 250mm single disc brake setup at the rear. Furthermore, the model comes equipped with telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear.
