Bajaj Pulsar N150 Vs Pulsar N160 – Quick Comparison
Bajaj Auto recently launched the new Bajaj Pulsar N150 motorcycle in India. This latest Pulsar motorcycle sits between the sportier Bajaj Pulsar N160 motorcycle and the more commuter-friendly Bajaj Pulsar N150 motorcycle.
That being said, Bajaj currently has the widest range of 150cc-160cc motorcycles in India. Since, the Bajaj Pulsar N150 and the N160 fall under the same series, here's a quick comparison between both these motorcycles.

Price
Price is a major factor in any buying decision. Though the Bajaj Pulsar N150 is the newer motorcycle, it is the more affordable variant costing just Rs 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 costs Rs 1.31 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Design
In terms of design, the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar N150 motorcycle looks almost identical to the Bajaj Pulsar N160 motorcycle. This is quite obvious as both motorcycles fall under the same series.
However, there are a few subtle differences between these motorcycles. The changes on the newly launched Pulsar N150 motorcycle include a new single-piece seat, different alloy wheels, a new single-piece grab rail, a different engine cowl, and a less sporty-looking rear number plate holder.
Powertrain
Powering the new Bajaj Pulsar N150 is the same 149.68cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as the Bajaj Pulsar P150 motorcycle. This engine produces a healthy 14.3bhp at 8,500rpm and 13.5Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. Also, the motorcycle features a 5-speed gearbox.

In comparison, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 motorcycle is powered by a bigger 164.82cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. This engine puts out a healthier 15.7bhp at 8,750rpm and 14.65Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. However, the gearbox remains a 5-speed unit.
Hardware
The new Bajaj N150 motorcycle comes with 31mm telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Moreover, braking duties are handled by a 260mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear.
The single-channel ABS variant of the Pulsar N160 also sports an identical suspension setup. However, the model comes with a larger 280mm disc brake at the front and a 230mm disc brake at the rear.
On the other hand, the dual-channel ABS variant of the Pulsar N160 comes with beefier 37mm telescopic suspension at the front. Moreover, braking duties are handled by a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 230mm disc brake at the rear.

The newly launched Bajaj Pulsar N150 motorcycle offers a decent blend of practicality and sporty looks to its customers. That being said, the Pulsar N160 clearly stands as a sportier offering from the manufacturer and the option of having dual-channel ABS is highly appreciated.
