Bajaj Pulsar N150 Launched In India At Rs 1.18 Lakh – Sportier Pulsar P150
Bajaj Auto launched the new Bajaj Pulsar N150 motorcycle in India at Rs 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom). This new motorcycle is positioned between the sportier Pulsar N160 and the Pulsar P150 motorcycles.
With the launch of the Pulsar N150 motorcycle in India, Bajaj Auto currently has the widest range of 150cc motorcycles in India. With such a wide product portfolio in the 150cc motorcycle segment, Bajaj Auto is looking forward to attracting all the potential customers in the segment.
Speaking about the new Bajaj Pulsar N150, the motorcycle looks very much like the variation of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 motorcycle. This is quite obvious as both motorcycles fall under the same series.
However, there are a few subtle differences in the design elements. The changes on the newly launched Pulsar N150 motorcycle include a new single-piece seat, different alloy wheels (similar to the one in the Pulsar P150 motorcycle), a new grab rail, and a few more.
To further differentiate the new Pulsar N150 motorcycle from the more expensive Pulsar N160 motorcycle, the newer model gets different graphics as well. Also, the new Bajaj Pulsar N150 motorcycle is available in three shades - Racing Red, Ebony Black, and Metallic Pearl White.
Powering the new Bajaj Pulsar N150 is the same 149.68cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as the Bajaj Pulsar P150 motorcycle. This engine is tuned to produce 14.3bhp at 8,500rpm and 13.5Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. Also, the motorcycle features a 5-speed gearbox.
In comparison, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 motorcycle is powered by a bigger 164.82cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. This engine puts out 15.7bhp at 8,750rpm and 14.65Nm of torque at 6,750rpm. However, the gearbox remains a 5-speed unit.
That being said, the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar N150 motorcycle uses the same instrument cluster as the Bajaj Pulsar N160 motorcycle. Moreover, the new Pulsar N150 motorcycle also features a very convenient USB charging port on the fuel tank, much like the Pulsar N160.

With the launch of the new Bajaj Pulsar N150 motorcycle, Bajaj Auto boasts the widest range of 150cc motorcycles in India. With such a wide 150cc product portfolio, Bajaj is trying to keep a potential customer within the Bajaj Pulsar family.
Also, the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar N150 motorcycle offers a decent blend of practicality and sporty looks to its customers. That being said, we are not sure if the Pulsar P150 model will be discontinued later given the small difference in pricing between both motorcycles (P150 and N150).
