Bajaj Pulsar 180F BS6 Model Launched In India At Rs 1.08 Lakh, Ex-Showroom Delhi
Bajaj Auto has just launched the 2020 Bajaj Pulsar 180F BS6 model at Rs 1.08 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
The motorcycle now features an electronic fuel injection system instead of a carburetor. The BS6 compliant 178.6 cc engine produces the same 16.8 brake horsepower and 14.52 Newton-meters of torque as the BS4 compliant engines did. The engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Bajaj hasn't given the 180F any other updates or upgrades, and the motorcycle continues to feature a telescopic, anti-friction bush set up at the front and five-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 260 millimeter disc at the front, and 230 millimeter disc at the rear.
Available in colour options of Black Red and Neon Orange, the Bajaj Pulsar 180F BS6 model is priced at Rs 1.08 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
In related news, Bajaj Auto recently announced an extension for free service and warranty periods for both two and three wheelers. The company made the decision in light of the current Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lock down that has gripped the country.
The company announced that the manufacturer's free services and warranty period of all two wheelers expiring between 20 March and 30 April will be extended until 31 May; and free services for warranty periods for three wheelers and Bajaj Qute models carry an extension until 30 June. In light of the nationwide lock down, BS4 stockpiles, and eventual plea by the FADA to extend the BS4 deadline by 30 days, Rajiv Bajaj, the Managing Director at Bajaj Auto said that his company disagrees. The company feels that Covid-19 cannot be a reason for an extension of the BS4 deadline.
Bajaj Auto feels an extension unjustly penalises manufacturers who have complied with the deadline. Mr Bajaj also added that it was the job of the senior management to plan for a contingency; and that manufacturers must reimburse dealers for excess BS4 inventory. To know more, click here.
Thoughts About Bajaj Launching The Pulsar 180F BS6 Model In India At Rs 1.08 Lakh Ex-Showroom
We are very impressed with the efficiency with which Bajaj works. The brand has been at the forefront of the BS6 revolution in the country. The Pulsar 180F, like all motorcycles under the Pulsar series, does very well for the company. We expect customers to be more than happy considering there is absolutely no loss in power and performance numbers after the BS6 upgrades.
