Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 Online Bookings Start Today — Limited To 250 Units In India
Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 to go on sale today at the company’s official website. The sale of the limited edition Pegasus 500 will start from 2PM onwards on 10th July 2018.
Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 Online Bookings Start Today. The recently launched limited edition Pegasus 500, can be booked today (10th July 2018) from 2PM onwards. Bookings for the motorcycle can be done on the company's official website.
The Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 was launched a month back. The limited edition motorcycle is priced at Rs 2.49 lakh, On-Road (Mumbai). Production of the Pegasus 500 will be limited to just 1000 units, out of which only 250 units will be sold in India.
The Pegasus 500 motorcycle was built as a tribute to Royal Enfield's RE/WD 125 ‘Flying Flea'. The ‘Flying Fea' was used to serve British paratroopers during the Second World War.
Rudratej Singh, President of Royal Enfield stated that he expects the Pegasus 500 to sell out within seconds of going on sale.
He further revealed that since the launch, thousands of people have shown interest in purchasing the motorcycle.
The limited edition Pegasus 500 is based on Royal Enfield's Classic 500 model. The Pegasus carries forward the same 499cc engine, producing 27bhp and 41Nm of torque. The engine is further mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 also carries forward the chassis, tyres and brakes from the Classic 500 model.
Other unique features on the limited edition Pegasus 500: military style canvas panniers, leather strap with brass buckles, tank badge and the Pegasus Logo.
Each of the 1000 units of the Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 will carry a unique number, stencilled on the side of the tank. The Pegasus will further feature blacked-out headlamps, bezels, rims, exhaust pipes and engine.
Globally the Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 is available in a choice of two colours: Olive Drab Green and Service Brown. However, only the Service Brown colour option will be available in India.

The Royal Enfield Pegasus 500 was launched in India on the 1st June 2018. With only 250 models to be sold in India, the company will sell the motorcycle online. This according to Royal Enfield will give everyone an opportunity to purchase the limited edition motorcycle.
Royal Enfield will also offer a helmet, panniers and a T-shirt as complementary accessories, with the Pegasus 500.
