Bajaj Dominar Targets Royal Enfield Again; Releases New ‘Haathi Mat Paalo’ Ad
Bajaj Auto has released a new 'Haathi Mat Paalo' ad which targets the comfort of Royal Enfield bikes.
It looks like Bajaj Auto is not finished with the 'Haathi Mat Paalo' ad series which is used to target the Royal Enfield motorcycles. Now, Bajaj Auto has released the sixth ad in the 'Haathi Mat Paalo' series which compares the riding comfort of the Dominar 400 and RE bikes.
This time Bajaj Auto has taken a dig at the comfort of the Royal Enfield motorcycles. The ‘Haathi' which is referred to Royal Enfield bike can be seen massaging a rider in the latest video. The elephant can be seen massaging the back of the rider to relieve the pain caused by riding a Royal Enfield.
Soon, a group of Dominar 400 riders come into the scene. The Dominar riders feel extremely comfortable on the sports cruiser and ride past the Royal Enfield rider shaking their heads. The latest ad is a mockery of Royal Enfield's riding comfort, which in reality, is not that great.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 features an upright riding position and well-cushioned seats designed for long hours on the saddle. The wide handlebar also plays its part in improving the riding comfort. The refined engine of the Dominar 400 also aids in a comfortable ride as compared to the rather vibrating RE engines.
The Dominar 400 draws power from a 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel injected engine producing 35bhp and 35Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch. The Dominar 400 also comes with optional dual-channel ABS.
As compared to the Royal Enfield bikes, the Bajaj Dominar 400 is modern and equipped with features such as digital instrument cluster, LED headlight and slipper clutch. The bike gets telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Braking duties are handled by discs at both the ends.
The Dominar 400 can reach a top speed of 148km/h and can cruise comfortably at triple digit speeds. Overall, the Dominar 400 is much comfortable than the Royal Enfield bikes. The latest ad from Bajaj Auto is apt considering the problems faced by the Royal Enfield riders.
Thoughts On Bajaj's ‘Haathi Mat Paalo' Ad Series
Since the launch of the Dominar 400 in 2016, Bajaj Auto has been taunting Royal Enfield with the ‘Haathi Mat Paalo' ad series. Now, the sixth ad targets the comfort of Royal Enfield bikes. The Dominar 400 offers an exceptional value for money and is branded as a sports cruiser. The ‘Haathi Mat Paalo' ads have spiced up the rivalry between Bajaj and Royal Enfield.
