Aprilia SR 125: Top Things To Know About The Light Italian Commuter
The new Aprilia SR 125 is priced at Rs 65,310 ex-showroom (Delhi).
The Aprilia SR 125 was launched in India at the Auto Expo 2018, at a price of Rs 65,310. The new Aprilia SR 125 is a toned-down version of the more powerful SR 150. Visually, it looks almost similar to the Aprilia SR 150, except for the grab rail, seat trim and graphics.
The Aprilia SR 125 is powered by a 124.49cc single-cylinder engine producing 9.46bhp and 9.9Nm of torque. The SR 125 is also the most expensive scooter in its segment, which includes the highly capable TVS NTorq 125. The Aprilia SR 125 is also just Rs 5,000 lesser than the higher SR 150.

Another interesting fact is that the new Aprilia SR 125 is just slightly less powerful than the Aprilia SR 150 (with 10.36bhp). Also, the SR 125 is just 1Nm of torque lesser than the Aprilia SR 150.

Being a sporty scooter, the Aprilia SR 125 isn't expected to give a high mileage. The SR 125 returns a mileage of around 37km/l, after all the performance. This mileage, combined with the fuel tank capacity of 6.5 litres, gives the SR 125 a decent riding range.

The Aprilia started accepting bookings for the SR 125 through Paytm Mall App in February. You can avail a cashback of Rs 5000 through the app. Customers have to register at www.apriliasr.in first to get the cashback.
The Aprilia SR 125 has a waiting period of around 15-20 days, depending on the dealership location.

The Aprilia SR 125 is aimed to be a sporty scooter and concentrates less on practicality. The SR 150 was the best thing, young riders whose parents wouldn't let buy them a motorcycle, could get. The Aprilia SR 125 is just that, but at a lesser cost.
