Several two-wheeler manufacturers are gearing up to launch their new products in the Indian market. With the 2018 Auto Expo around the corner, we can expect a slew of new bike launches in the country.
The performance motorcycle segment booming in the Indian market, and there are a few new motorcycles which are coming to India. Here are the complete details of the new bike launches in the Indian market in 2017-18.
Honda Grazia
Honda is all set to launch its new premium scooter, the Grazia in India. Branded as an Advanced Urban Scooter, the Grazia is targeted towards the young urban buyers. The overall design is sporty and there are a host of premium features.
The front profile of the Honda Grazia features twin headlamp setup with turn indicators integrated to the front apron. Other premium features include dual-tone paint scheme, chrome inserts and premium quality plastic for the switchgear. The scooter also gets new instrument cluster with digital display, USB charging port and small storage space on the interior panel. The Grazia is likely to draw power from the existing 124.9cc engine of the Activa 125.

Suzuki Intruder 150
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki is readying its new cruiser motorcycle, the Intruder 150. The Intruder 150 is based on the Gixxer series, but the overall design is bulbous and looks like a big cruiser motorcycle. The flowing fuel tank with extensions, signature LED headlamp design and dual port exhaust enhances the appeal of the motorcycle.
The Suzuki Intruder 150 is expected to draw power from the existing 155cc single cylinder engine producing 14.5bhp and 14Nm of torque. The motorcycle also gets an optional single-channel ABS. The Intruder 150 will take on the likes of Bajaj Avenger 150.

TVS Apache RR 310S
Indian two-wheeler maker TVS is gearing up for the launch of its first fully faired motorcycle, the Apache RR 310S in the country. The Apache RR 310S is based on the same platform of the BMW G 310 R. Overall; the motorcycle looks aggressive with the front fairing which integrates well with the fuel tank. The motorcycle features projector headlamps, digital instrument cluster and ABS is likely to be offered as standard equipment.
The TVS Apache RR 310S will be powered by a 313cc single cylinder; fuel injected engine producing 34bhp and 28Nm of peak torque. The same engine is deployed in the G 310 R, but TVS has tuned the engine to suit the Indian conditions.

Yamaha YZF R15 V3.0
Yamaha has already introduced the third-generation of the R15 in several global markets. The new R15 V3.0 gets a new design which is sharp and reflects the soul of its elder sibling, the R1. The sleek headlamp, new tail design and the flowing fairing enhance the sporty appeal of the motorcycle.
The Yamaha YZF R15 V3.0 draws power from an all-new 155cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 19.7bhp and 14.7Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle also features new digital instrument cluster and slipper clutch.

Hero Xtreme 200S
India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has already announced that it will be introducing new products in the country. The first to be introduced will be the Xtreme 200S naked street fighter. The motorcycle is aggressively designed with the stylish headlamp design and muscular fuel tank with shrouds.
The Hero Xtreme 200S is expected to draw power from an all-new 200cc engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Hero MotoCorp is aiming to enter the performance motorcycle segment in India to further consolidated its position in the country.

BMW G 310 R
BMW Motorrad was supposed to launch its entry-level offering, the G 310 R in India a long time ago. But the launch was delayed due to various reasons. The motorcycle is manufactured in India by TVS and has already commenced exporting to several global markets. The overall design is sporty and muscular with chunky front forks and sculpted fuel tank.
The BMW G 310 R is powered by a 313cc single cylinder, fuel injected, liquid-cooled engine producing 34bhp and 28Nm of peak torque. The naked motorcycle also features digital instrument cluster and dual disc brakes. BMW is expected to offer ABS at least as an option.
