Kawasaki India Appoints Shishir Sinha As Chief Of Sales And Marketing
Kawasaki India has appointed Shishir Sinha as the new head of sales and marketing, effective August 1.
Kawasaki India has appointed a new Chief of Sales and Marketing, Shishir Sinha. The new head of Sales and Marketing at Kawasaki has taken up his new role, effective August 1.
Shishir Sinha has over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry. Sinha previously worked for Harley-Davidson India.
Being part of the dealer development with Harley-Davidson India, Sinha was key in establishing the American motorcycle manufacturer's presence in India. Also, Sinha is one of the key management personnel who has left the troubled Harley-Davidson brand to join another company.

Shishir Sinha has also worked with Mercedes-Benz India and Mahindra in the past. With his new role, the head of Sales and Marketing will strengthen Kawasaki's presence in the Indian market.
At present, Kawasaki has dealerships in some of the major cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Kochi, and Coimbatore. The Japanese brand is looking at doubling the dealership network in the next three years.

Kawasaki entered the Indian market with the Ninja 250 a few years ago, and at present, has 18 models in its offering for India. However, with only 14 dealerships, Kawasaki has a lot to do regarding expansion, with which Shishir Sinha will play a key role.
