Hero MotoCorp Will Finally Launch The Xtreme 200S In India — Here’s When
Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the Xtreme 200S in the Indian market.
India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is all set to introduce new products in 2018, and the company has an aggressive product strategy in the country.
First on the list is the Xtreme 200S naked motorcycle which was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the motorcycle in India in 2018.

Speaking to TOI, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Hero MotoCorp, Markus Braunsperger stated that the Xtreme 200S would be launched in the Indian market sometime around the 2018 Auto Expo. He also said that the next two years would be exciting in terms of product strategy.
Speaking about the Hero Xpulse, he said that the company had got positive feedback and they will work on it to make it happen. Braunsperger was speaking on the sidelines of showcasing Hero RR 450 Dakar Rally bike in India.

Apart from the Xtreme 200S, Hero also plans to launch commuter motorcycles between 110cc to 150cc and scooters as well in the next two years. Braunsperger also confirmed that the company would not introduce the production version of the HX250R, instead, will develop a better motorcycle.
Talking about the Hero Xtreme 200S, the naked motorcycle in its concept form featured a sharp and edgy design with muscular fuel tank, sleek tail section and chunky tyres. The overall design was similar to its smaller sibling, the Hero Xtreme Sports.
The Hero Xtreme 200S draws power from an all-new 200cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine producing 18.2bhp and 17.2Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is based on the diamond-type frame.

The Hero Xtreme 200S has been on the news for quite some time, and now the motorcycle is all set to hit the Indian roads in 2018. Hero MotoCorp is also aggressive with its product strategy, and we expect to see a lot of new motorcycles and scooters in the coming years.
