With the seat height at 785mm, it makes it comfortable for riders of different stature.

The liquid cooled 4-stroke engine, which is a single cylinder 313cc punches with a 6-speed transmission of 34bhp @9,500 and torque of 28Nm @7,500, which takes off even during cornering, a clear performance, keeping the city riders in mind. The instrument cluster is a clear LCD and has easy-to-use controls. The bike will come with Strato Blue Metallic, Cosmic Black, Pearl White Metallic colour options.

The bike will directly compete with KTM 390 - which has big fan base in India - of course the KTM has a better bhp and torque and they have got the pricing right which is the mainstay of the KTM's premium motorcycle. The G310R is from the BMW Motorrad stable and the badge itself will be a selling point. The company has to get the pricing right and expected to be around the two lakh range and will be available in India later this year.
