BMW G310R Launch Date Revealed
BMW Motorrad has finally revealed the launch date of the much awaited G310R motorcycle - October 2016. The BMW G310R will be BMW's smallest capacity motorcycle and when launched, will compete with the Duke 390 and the Benelli TNT300.
The BMW G310R has been spotted testing in and around TVS' facility and the last time it was seen, the motorcycle was running with no camouflage at all. The motorcycle was also showcased during the 2016 Auto Expo that took place in Delhi.

Powering the BMW G310R is a 313cc, liquid-cooled single cylinder engine that develops 34bhp and 28Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The BMW G310R will feature upside down front forks, monoshock at the rear, fully digital instrument cluster, disc brakes with ABS at both ends, LED turn signals, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a 12-volt charging socket.
Although our source say the BMW G310R will be priced at Rs. 1.8 lakh, we doubt that. The Duke 390 has been the best-seller in this segment and one of the key reasons is the pricing. BMW may introduce the G310R for the above mentioned price, but is most unlikely to be priced at that range.
We expect the motorcycle to be priced around 2.7 lakh to Rs. 3 lakh. If, however, BMW does price the motorcycle under the 2 lakh price bracket, it could very well be the next big seller.
