BMW G310R Spied Again; Details Revealed Up Close
One of the most anticipated upcoming launches is the BMW G310R. The motorcycle will be the German brand's first sub-500cc category of the modern era and is expected to be a mass seller for the brand.
In India, the G310R will be manufactured in collaboration with TVS. By the looks of it, the G310R could launch anytime soon since the motorcycle has been spotted testing in and around TVS facility.

The latest pictures of the motorcycle, thanks to Deepak Thavaselvam, reveal the motorcycle being tested without any camouflage, showing details of what could be expected from the final production model. The G310R is a naked street bike that will compete with the KTM Duke 390, Benelli TNT300, and the upcoming Bajaj CS400.

Powering the BMW G310R is a 313cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that will produce 34bhp and 28Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The success of the BMW G310R will be in its features and details. The G310R features upside down front forks, mono shock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends with ABS, LED turn signals, 17-inch alloy wheels with Michelin tyres, digital meter console, side mounted exhaust, and a charging socket.

Launch Details & Pricing Of The BMW G310R
The BMW G310R is expected to launch in 2016. The motorcycle was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo and did attract a massive audience. Expect the BMW G310R to be priced around Rs. 3 lakh in the Indian market, which is quite close to the Benelli TNT300.
The KTM Duke 390 is priced far cheaper and also offers better performance, but is slowly showing its age in the Indian market. The updated version is expected to hit the market in 2017 since the motorcycle has already been spied at Bajaj's factory.
