Ducati Scrambler (400cc) Could Be Introduced At The 2015 EICMA Motor Show
Chances of the Ducati Scrambler 400cc being revealed at the upcoming EICMA Motor Show are high. The 2015 EICMA motor show is scheduled to kick-off from the 19 - 22 November 2015 in Milan, Italy . The Italian two-wheeler manufacturer plans on introducing nine new models at the upcoming EICMA motor show.

This small displacement (400cc) Ducati will be aimed at Asian and South American markets. Ducati could also offer the Scrambler 400 in developed markets, where young motorcycle buyers could purchase an affordable model.
Currently, Ducati offers the Scrambler with an 803cc L-twin cylinder engine. The engine is air cooled and produces 75 horsepower. The 800cc Scrambler is on sale in the Indian market as well and is priced reasonably at INR 6,78,000 ex-showroom (Delhi).

The Ducati Scrambler 400 will be powered by a 400cc L-twin cylinder engine. TheScrambler 400 will be identical to its older siblings, in terms of design and safety features. The only difference will be a smaller engine capacity targeted at young buyers and emerging markets.
It is most likely that Ducati will assemble this new product at their Thailand facility. The 400cc Scrambler will take on roles as the entry-level product in the Ducati portfolio, and could rake up mass orders, owing to the popularity of the retro design. Ducati will bring this product to India as well, and the Scrambler 400cc will be the most affordable offering from the Italian stable.
In India, the Scrambler 800cc is sold only in a standard version. Ducati has limited showrooms in India and will focus on growing its dealer and service network.
