Yamaha Could Launch Refreshed FZ-S On 30th June
Japanese two wheeler manufacturer is planning something special for 30th June, 2014. We believe Yamaha could launch a refreshed version of its FZ-S. The manufacturer has not confirmed the speculation and they have revealed it will be an all new chapter.
Yamaha India will organising a media conference on 30th July, 2014. The Japanese manufacturer is always up for surprises and it could possibly launch the facelifted variant of the FZ-S for India. They had showcased a concept version of FZ-S at 2014 Auto Expo, which was held in New Delhi.
Currently Yamaha sells FZ, FZ-S and Fazer among the affordable range of stylish motorcycles. It also sells the R15 fully faired motorcycle along with the Ray, Ray-z and Alpha scooters. It is expected that the Japanese manufacturer will stop production of its FZ.

The new FZ-S by Yamaha India will receive significant design changes. It will borrow design cues from the concept model too. The 2014 version FZ-S will sport a new fuel tank, exhaust, headlight and mudguard. It is expected to receive minor changes to the instrument console as well.
The Japanese manufacturer will not touch the engine of FZ-S. They will provide the same 153cc air cooled engine. It will be tuned to generate 13.6 Nm of peak torque along with 14 bhp. There are rumours that Yamaha could provide its refreshed motorcycle with fuel-injection.
This could all change as it is still a speculation and we will know only on the 30th of July. We will be covering the event and will be providing latest news and updates.
