Honda And Nicky Hayden A Lethal Combination
Nicky Hayden was astride the Ducati in previous year's, however this year the 'Kentucky Kid' along with Hiroshi Aoyama will ride the new RCV1000R from Honda.
The RCV1000R will be under the Aspar banner and follow 'open' category. This means additional fuel and engine for Hayden and Aoyama. However, they will have to use the spec Dorna ECU.
Spanish riders have won all classes in 2013 and look strong and composed for the upcoming season. Randy Mamola, a person to have never won a championship but considered extremely talented shares compliments to the spanish riders. However, he believes the upcoming months will be exciting.

Mamola believes, Nicky Hayden on a Honda will be a force to reckon with. The 'Kentucky Kid' is a 2006 World Champion and want the bike to be right for him. Aspar has so far was the team with the highest points for a CRT, however it was with Alexis Espargaro, a Spaniard.
Mamola explains, "You've got the upper hand of sponsorship and the investment that was done years ago, which the Americans had 30 years ago."

He further continues, "It's the fruit growing from the tree. You can't take anything away from the Spanish riders. When I am at the race track, although I see the Spanish flag and hear the Spanish national anthem, I just see them as great athletes down the line in the three classes."
Mamola raced his bike between the 1979 to 1992, he never won a race, however was the runner-up, four times in the 500cc premier class. He was runner-up two times with Suzuki and once each with Honda and Yamaha.
He currently manages Bradley Smith on the Monster Tech3 Yamaha, while also mentoring his son Dakota, who is planning to race in CEV championship Spain.
