Hesketh 24 Motorcycle Revealed
Hesketh Motorcycles is an iconic British motorcycle manufacturer based in Daventry, United Kingdom. It was founded by Alexander, third Lord Hesketh, who wanted to revive the British motorcycle industry. He also had a private Formula One team with James Hunt as the driver.
Now after an absence of 30 years from motorcycle manufacturing, Hesketh has launched its latest offering, the 24. The credit for the motorcycle goes to Paul Sleeman, Hesketh Motorcycles Owner and Chief Engineer, who designed and developed the 24.

The Hesketh motorcycle sports a 1950cc, V-twin engine configuration. The 56-degree air-cooled S&S, X-wedge engine has been tuned and tweaked by British Performance outfit HPE. They have managed to extract 125 horsepower from the engine along with 190 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The exhaust and swingarm of the 24 Motorcycle is made by Hesketh in-house. The chassis has been produced by Racing Innovations, the suspension has been acquired by Ohlins, braking force will be provided by Beringer and BST will source carbon fibre wheels. The clutch used in the 24 is the same that is being used in certain Cadillac models.

Hesketh has named the motorcycle in memory of James Hunt, who had the number 24 on his Formula One car. It will guise itself in the iconic livery of Hesketh's 308 F1 car that won them their first victory at the Dutch GP in 1975 with James Hunt behind the wheel.
The Hesketh 24 will make its public appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The British icon will be sold in limited number and only 24 motorcycles will be sold. The 24 by Hesketh will cost INR 35,81,221 and will come with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
