Hero MotoCorp Launching CBZ Xtreme Sports
Hero MotoCorp since its split with Japanese partner Honda has been showcasing it can launch many more motorcycles and scooter. Its range of motor vehicles at the 2014 Auto Expo held in New Delhi was excellent. The Indian manufacturer showcased some radical designs with engines to match them.
Hero has recently launched its latest avatar of the CBZ Xtreme in April, 2014. Now the Indian manufacturer will be launching a CBZ Xtreme Sports version, which by it names suggests it will pack more power than the standard model.
Hero MotoCorp is expected to use the same 149.2cc air-cooled, ATFT engine. The CBZ Xtreme Sports will produce 12.8 Nm of peak torque and 15.2 horsepower, which is significantly more than the standard bike. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The CBZ Xtreme Sports will get significant updates in the form of disc brakes both in front and rear. The rear tyre size will also be increased for a sporty and more stability at high speeds. It is also expected to receive an engine immobilizer along with side stand alert, which won't allow to start the motorcycle.
Hero MotoCorp will also provide the motorcycle with a mobile charging dock, which will be placed below the seat. The motorcycle will sport a special 'Sports' livery, which will cover the tank. The rear view mirrors will get a two tone effect to set it apart from the other motorcycles in its segment.
The CBZ Xtreme Sports will feature LED headlights, turn indicators are expected to be repositioned. The instrument console gets a blue-light effect to give it a cool factor as well as better visibility.
Hero MotoCorp has not revealed the price of its Sports model, although we expect it to be priced competitively against Yamaha's FZ and Bajaj's Pulsar 150. The CBZ Xtreme Sports is expected to launch within 2014.
