Mission Motorcycles Mission R Electric Superbike
Just a few days after announcing the limited edition Mission RS electric superbike Mission Motorcycles is back with the announcement of the Mission R. To eliminate confusion, besides being a limited edition (40 units) the Mission RS (Race Special) gets racing WSBK and MotoGP spec suspensions and brakes. This was mainly the reason behind the $60,000 price tag.
Now comes the Mission R, which in a way could be considered a lower spec variant of the Mission RS. It is not a limited edition, it loses the racing spec hardware and hence costs considerably less (starting price is $29,999). By regular standards the Mission R still remains expensive (& exclusive) and is still powered by the same 160 HP liquid cooled three phase AC motor.

Mission R will be available in three variants based on the battery pack - 12 kWh, 15 kWh, and 17 kWh.

Range are as follows: 164 km with 12 kWh, 193 km with 15 kWh and 225 km with 17 kWh.

These figures are under ideal road conditions and with mixed (50/50) city/highway riding. Being an electric bike range considerably decreases with only highway driving.

Ohlins RT suspension are provided at the front and rear, while Brembo M430 monoblock brake calipers provide stopping power.

Mission R will still get the Mission OS running digital display.

For the first time in a production bike, Mission motorcycles will come equipped with a display unit running the Mission OS. The display unit can connect to LTE network, provides Google maps and can also connect to mobile devices via Bluetooth.

Upon launch Mission OS SDK will be offered for free to developers, which means several useful applications will become available in the future, making it truly versatile.
