Kawasaki Ninja 1000 In India For A Price Of INR 12.5 Lakhs
At the launch event of the Z1000 the attendees were pleasantly surprised to see the Ninja 1000 at the venue. While everyone knew the Z1000 was due for a launch during Christmas there was no indication about the latest liter class superbike breaking cover in India. But it turned out the bike was indeed accompanying its naked counterpart.

Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is powered by the same engine as the Z1000, the 1043cc liquid cooled engine, dual overhead cam, 16 valve, inline four cylinder unit with digital fuel injection. The engine generates 142 PS of power at 1000 rpm and 111 Nm of torque at 7300 rpm. The Ninja 1000 is essentially the Z1000 with full fairing.
The new Ninja 1000 now joins a growing Kawasaki product line in India that includes the Ninja 300, Ninja 650, ZX10R, ZX14R and the new Z1000. This model lineup will be further bolstered by the launch of a new model in January, which we suspect, will be the Z800. Kawasaki also revealed that 5 new models, apart from the Z800 will be brought to India, in the coming months.
To be solely available in its single trademark lime green colour, Kawasaki Ninja 1000 will be sold and serviced at exclusive showrooms in Pune and the upcoming one in New Delhi. Two new showrooms will be added every year. The Japanese superbike is priced at INR 12.5 lakhs (Ex-showroom, Pune).
