Hero Motocorp Achieves Record August sales

Hero Motocorp, India's best selling two wheeler manufacturer has reported a massive 18.61 per cent increase in its sales in August. The company in its statement said it had sold 5,03,654 motorcycles and scooters this August. The company had sold 4,24,617 units in the corresponding month last year.

In its statement, Hero Motocorp said: “The cumulative sales of Hero MotoCorp between April to August this year have now crossed the 25 lakh units milestone, a growth of 21% over 2,086,342 units sold in the same period last year."

Hero Motocorp unveiled its new logo and identity in August to officially announce its separation with Honda. Hero Motocorp will be using Honda's technology for the next five years. Hero Honda was the highest selling two wheeler manufacturer in the world. The company has expressed confidence that the change in brand identity will actually help it grow within India as well as globally.

Hero Motocorp has launched the Impulse motorcycle and the the Maestro scooter.
