Volvo Ropes In Jean-Claude Van Damme To Do Splits On Trucks
The advertising and marketing department at Volvo are creative like any marketing team needs to be. But they are also slightly crazy. Like getting their president to perform a death defying stunt crazy.
We have already watched Volvo come out with several unconventional (to say the least) advertisements to promote the features of their commercial vehicles, which includes letting a hamster drive a truck up a cliff and having a beautiful ballerina walk a tightrope between trucks among others. For their latest video they have signed in Hollywood actor and martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme, who is also well known for his signature splits. The video is meant to demonstrate the stability and precision of Volvo Dynamic Steering. So Volvo came up with a way to combine the actor's ability and their trucks' capability to make a video that will leave you open mouthed.
