Volvo's Bonkers Iron Knight Is Maniacally Quick

Volvo's Iron Knight truck is a purpose built speed machine. With a 13-litre quad-turbocharged mid-mounted diesel engine producing 2,367bhp and 5,999Nm of torque and a fibreglass body, the Iron Knight can sprint from 0–100km/h in just 4.6 seconds.

The Iron Knight claimed the record for the fastest sprints to 500 metres and 1,000 metres. The Iron Knight completed the 500-metre sprint in 13.710 seconds at an average speed of 131.29km/h, while the 1,000-metre sprint took 21.29seconds at an average speed of 168.91km/h.
