Tata Nano Rear Ends A Maruti Ciaz And The Result — Quite Surprising
Accidents are common, but what makes people curious about a few such situations are the vehicles involved. It can sometimes be an entry-level car that has rear ended a super expensive luxury vehicle.
One such incident was when a Volkswagen Jetta had to brake suddenly to avoid a two-wheeler, when the car was rear ended by a Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The Jetta did take minor damages, but the Baleno took a major beating.
The latest incident involves a Tata Nano that crashed into a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Now, one may think that the Nano was at the receiving end of damage, but as the pictures show, the Ciaz took the beating.
The Tata Nano, in spite of having a hollow bonnet (engine is at the rear), proved to be stronger than the Ciaz. The Maruti has sustained enough damages that the boot might need replacement, including the hinges.
The incident took place in Goa, and according to witnesses, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz braked hard when a dog crossed the road. The Nano too braked hard, but rear ended the Ciaz. Damage was done to both the cars, but the Ciaz took the most. What is worrying about both the above mentioned accidents is the build quality of Maruti Suzuki.
