Russian Covers Entire Car In Leather, Asks A Million Dollar For It
Car wraps are popular as they lend a unique style and makes the stand apart in the crowd or even win you a prize, like the woolen sweater wrapped Beetle from Germany. But we would say wrapping an entire car in leather is not just strange, but also obnoxious.
A Russian, known as ‘Rustum', has put up an ad in a classified of his custom made leather wrapped car. When we say leather wrapped we are not just talking about the interior, but every square inch of the exterior as well and more.

The car is of an unknown build. But the Peugeot badge makes us believe this is a heavily modified vehicle. Moreover, the ad description mentions the body is made from fiberglass, which only confirms it.

The leather that wraps the car comes from Canadian bison (we do not know how many unfortunate bison were slaughtered).

The leather treatment obviously extends to the interior as well, which also gets a fair amount fur from an unknown animal donor.

The leather wrapping gets crazier still. The maker has even covered the entire engine compartment and the engine in leather, including the underside of the hood.

If leather wrapped engine were not weird enough he has also inserted Swarovski crystal to the engine bay. We have no idea why somebody would do that.

The leather body also boosts of artistic pinstriping work, apparently done by an expert from the Middle East.

The leather has been heat treated so that it can withstand the high temperatures inside the engine bay and he even says the car can be washed like a regular painted car.

As for the engine, it is a 2.5-liter petrol mill, mated to an automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. The steering wheel is on the right side.

‘Rustam' has put up the ad in Russia's largest classified, Avito and is asking 40 million Rubles ($1.2 million or INR 8.11 crore) for it. Did we mention the leather comes with lifetime guarantee? It does.
