Michael Schumacher's Skiing Accident Video Sought By Investigators
Details surrounding Michael Schumacher's accident and his condition have not been open to the public to respect his family's privacy. It is for the same reason that a video shot by another skier that captured the former F1 champion's skiing accident has not been made public. However, investigators and prosecutors are reportedly seeking a copy of the video.

The video was shot by a 35 year old man at the Meribel ski resort where Schumacher was out skiing with his son. According to Germany's Der Spiegel, the man first contacted them claiming to have a video of the accident. The same video is now being asked for by French investigators from Albertville looking into the matter.

Besides the smartphone video shot by the man, who claimed to have been just a few feet away when the incident occurred, Schumacher himself had a camera mounted on his helmet which could also provide crucial evidence into the matter.
The unfortunate accident occurred on December 29, 2013, following which the F1 legend sustained life threatening injuries to his head. Schumacher is since being treated in France's Grenoble University Hospital Center where he has been kept under induced coma in hoping that it will help in the healing process.
Last we heard, Schumacher is stable, but still critical. Further updates about his condition is expected to be released later this week.
