Ferrari Fans Hold Silent Prayer For Michael Schumacher On His B'Day
Today, January 3rd happens to be Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher's birthday. Schumacher turns 45 today even as he continues to fight for his life following the freak accident during his skiing trip.
Even though Schumacher ended his illustrious career with a three year stint with Mercedes-Benz he will forever be associated with Ferrari. The Italian manufacturer and the German racing giant have a relationship that will last forever, with him having raced for Scuderia Ferrari from 1996 to 2006 during which he won 72 Grand Prixs.
"These were unforgettable moments which, along with his passion, commitment and dedication makes Michael part of the great Ferrari family for ever." says Ferrari on its site.

To celebrate Schumacher birthday and to pray for his recovery Ferrari has organised a "silent and respectful event" at the Grenoble University Hospital in France where he is currently being treated. Through their Facebook page Scuderia Ferrari has urged Ferrari owners to gather outside the hospital with their cars. The event has been organised by the Scuderia Ferrari Club and interested owners were asked to sign in for the event by through their local clubs.
"In these difficult days and on the occasion of his birthday the SCUDERIA FERRARI CLUBS want to show their support for MICHAEL SCHUMACHER, organising tomorrow a silent and respectful event all in Red at the Grenoble University Hospital Center," the FB post read.
Michael Schumacher's condition is said to be stable, though still critical, even as he continues to remain in a medically induced coma. Team DriveSpark wishes Michael Schumacher a very happy birthday and a speedy recovery.
