Fast & The Furious Volkswagen Jetta Sold At Auction
Now, everybody knows the movie The Fast & The Furious and the cars that were used. One of the cars from the movie, a Volkswagen Jetta driven by 'Jesse' has been sold at an auction organised by Barrett-Jackson.
The car was bought by an unknown person for USD 42,000. The car was previously owned by the character's actual father. The Jetta was also signed by the late Paul Walker and the movie's director, Rob Cohen.
Although the car looks specced-up, the Jetta has a stock 2.0-litre gasoline engine under its hood. The engine is paired to a 4-speed automatic gearbox, and the Nitrous Oxide cylinder, was just a prop. The on-board Playstation however, is real.
