Watch: BMW M5 Longest Drift World Record Video

On May 11, 2013 at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina, BMW instructor, Johan Schwartz set a new Guinness World Record for the world's longest sustained car drift. Schwartz drifted a standard BMW M5 sedan around the Performance Center skid pad, covering a total distance of 51.278 miles or 82.506 km.

Last week BMW had not released an official video of the record breaking performance, but now it has. We are pretty sure no one would sit through a video watching an M5 go round and round the same track for 82.5 km. But BMW has prepared a much shorter and entertaining video of Schwartz's record breaking performance. You can watch the video below.
