Batmobile For Batman vs Superman Being Developed By General Motors
If are aren't aware, Batman's next on-screen appearance will be in the movie Batman vs Superman, with Ben Affleck playing the part of the Caped Crusader. And of course this also means there will be a new Batmobile. However, since upcoming movie is not being made by Christopher Nolan neither will the Batmobile.
So, the question is what could possibly replace the supercar-tank hybrid,Tumbler? According to latest rumor the next Batmobile will be nothing like the Tumbler. Meaning, it will not sport a military vehicle look, but nothing more about supposed look is know.

The source of the rumor is a Batman fan page, Batman-on-film, which further reports that the task of designing the Batman's new ride has been handed over the General Motors Advanced Design Studio located in North Hollywood. These are the same guys who have designed several cars for the upcoming Transformers 4, including the concept Bumblebee Camaro.

It is the last bit of information, however, which is the most interesting. The fansite says "an old Cadillac" will be extensively featured in the film. Does it suggest the next Batmobile will be based on an old Cadillac or does it simply mean a regular old Cadillac will be seen in the movie?
It hard not to think about the Cadillac Sixteen, the car which has an uncanny resemblance to the Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series and which has also served as the base for several batmobile concepts. We'll have to wait some time before we get any concrete answers because the new vehicle is still "pictures on the wall" - meaning it has not crossed the concept sketch stage. Tell us what you think.
