Tata Bolt & Tata Zest To Be Sold In Europe
Tata Motors' all new Bolt hatchback and Zest compact sedan, which made their Indian debut earlier this month, will head to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show which starts on March 3. However, the Bolt & Zest are not making their appearance as just show cars.

Post the Geneva Motor Show reveal Tata will send its new vehicles to its existing dealerships in Spain, Italy and Turkey, where the new models will be sold as entry level cars.
Tata Bolt & Zest are expected to be launched in India during the second half of this year.

Both the Bolt & Vista are based on the Vista's X1 platform. Though the Bolt has a profile similar to the Vista, it has been extensively upgraded inside and out. The Zest, meanwhile, is a compact sedan based on the Bolt.

The cars were designed based on inputs provided by Tata's design centers in the UK, Italy and India. They get a new grille based on Tata's ‘Humanity Line', projector headlamps and restyled bumpers. In fact, almost every body panel is new.

The revised interior now have better fit and finish, feature better quality material and come with a specially designed HARMAN infotainment system with a 5 inch tour screen display that offers a range of features such as hands free telephony, smartphone connectivity, navigation, voice recognition etc,.

Lastly, both the Bolt and Zest petrol variants are powered by an all new turbocharged 1.2 liter Revotron engine that generates 85 HP and 140 Nm of torque. The diesel variants will get the same 1.3 liter MultiJet unit that will deliver 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque in the Bolt and 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque in the Zest. 5 speed manual will be standard for the petrol, while an AMT transmission will be offered with the diesel engines.
