2014 Tata Aria Launched; Price Rs 9.95 Lakhs
Tata Motors has launched the updated 2014 Aria MPV at a starting price of INR 9.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The facelifted Tata Aria does not differ much from last year's model as the exterior changes are minor.
The Aria now wears new body decals on the side and comes with double barrel projector headlamps, with black bezel, which is a welcome addition. The taillamps get clear lens. 16-inch steel wheels are standard, but 17-inch alloy is available as an option.

Most of the changes are on the inside. New additions to the cabin come in the form of a navigation system, a premium Harman sound system, - consisting of four mid-range speakers, four tweeters, one centre speaker and 1 sub-woofer (top variant only) - leather seats with beige fabric covers, leather wrapped steering wheel, steering wheel mounted audio and cruise controls, automatic climate control, chilled glove box and cup holders.
In terms of safety Tata Aria sounds pretty robust, with a body shell that has crumple zones to absorb impact energy, impact bars in the doors, six airbags and electronic features such as ABS, EBD, ESP and TCS.

Tata Motors claims the Varicor 2.2-litre engine, equipped with Variable-Geometry Turbocharger, has been improved to provide increased low end torque. The engine now produces 10 hp more power than before, with a peak power of 150 hp and peak torque of 320 Nm.
The ARAI certified mileage of Tata Aria is 15.05 kmpl.
Tata offers a 3 years or 100,000 kms warranty on the vehicle and 3 years or 150,000 kms warranty on the Vericor engine.
2014 Tata Aria variant price (ex-showroom, Delhi):
Pure LX - INR 9.95 lakh
Pleasure INR 12.00 lakh and
Pride 4X4 INR 14.74 lakh
