Rolls Royce Ghost Series II Revealed At 2014 Chengdu Motor Show

Rolls Royce is known to build the most exquisite automobiles in the world. The manufacturer is based in United Kingdom and was founded in March, 1998. The manufacturer of bespoke luxury vehicles is currently owned by BMW AG.

The British based premium car manufacturer unveiled a spectacular product at 2014 Chengdu Motor Show. The Chinese market is among the few to get Rolls Royce Ghost Series II. It is among the most anticipated high-end luxury vehicle to be launched globally.

Henrik Wilhemsmeyer, Rolls Royce Motor Cars' Regional Director for Mainland China, expressed, "The Rolls Royce Ghost Series II is the ultimate entrepreneur's business tool. Following the worldwide success of its predecessor."

He further added, "I am confident that this re-designed and updated Rolls-Royce will continue to attract increasing numbers of new customers to the marque, in particular business entrepreneurs seeking an oasis of calm in a frenetic business world."

The engineers and designers have incorporated LED headlights in Ghost Series II. It also features an all new anti-glare technology and reflectors that move according to steering wheel inputs. It gets the famous Satellite Aides Transmission as a standard feature.

On the outside Roll Royce has redesigned bumpers, bonnet and front fascia of Ghost Series II. There will be more paint schemes and wheel options, along with moe Bespoke options. It also offers an optional dynamic driving package, which improves the suspension.

The Rolls Royce Ghost Series II sports a 6.6-litre V12, twin-turbo engine. The mammoth engine will produce a maximum power of 563 bhp and 780 Nm of peak torque. Top speed has been restricted to 250 km/h and can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.

The car will consume 14 litres of Super unleaded petrol per 100 kilometres. Ghost Series II by Rolls Royce will be available in two body sizes. The first is a Standard Wheelbase variant and the second is an Extended Wheelbase option.
