This means the production version of the B2 sports car from Marussia Motors will never see the light of day. The only sports car Marussia has ever produced is called the B1.
Marussia's closure, however, will not affect the eponymous F1 team as the racing outfit has been functioning entirely independently of its production car parent for some time now. The British F1 racing team is controlled by Marussia Communications Limited.

Marussia Motors had purchased the former Virgin Racing team in 2010 and had renamed it Marussia F1 in 2012. One of the teams from the back of the grid, Marussia F1 cars are driven by Max Chilton and Jules Bianchi.
