Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 India Launch In September
Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, the Gallardo replacement made its world debut only days back at the Geneva Motor Show 2014 and already news has come out that the newest bull from Bolognese will come rampaging to India in September of this year.
Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, so named because of the positioning of the engine, the power it generates and its all-wheel drive configuration, has legacy to live up to, that of the incredibly successful Gallardo.

So far the Huracan seems to be doing well, with reportedly over 1000 units already booked. We have a feeling the Huracan will do better than the Gallardo in India as well. The Huracan is already in India as a show car for prospective buyers.

Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, like its elder sibling, the Aventador, has sharp body lines and broad, sleek and low to the ground design, though it still has a distinct look.

The Huracan's chassis is made from carbon-fiber and aluminium to keep weight down and to increase fuel economy. Weighing in at just 1,422 kg the car is also stiffer than the Gallardo.

The engine powering the Huracan is a 5.2 liter V10 that outputs 602 HP at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

Power is transferred to all four wheels via a 7 speed dual clutch transmission and the car is capable of reach 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h.

To keep emissions in check to make it more economical than the Gallardo, the Huracan gets a start/stop system and features what Lamborghini calls "Iniezione Diretta Stratificata". This engine technology combines direct and indirect fuel injections for optimum use of petrol. This not only improves fuel consumption, but also increases power and torque figures.

The cabin might not rival a luxury car, but is still opulent for a supercar. Aventador style ignition button, 12.3 inch colour display with sat-nav, electronically adjustable heated seats and even an armrest are some of the amenities you'll find within.

Though a price for India has not been announced, expect Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 to be priced around INR 3.5 crores.
