One thing that no one expected was the Figo name for the concept. Ford has not provided many details about its new car but we can expect the production version to hit the road before the year ends as the concept already appears near production ready.

Ford Figo concept is not a radical new concept, but instead gets the same Aston Martin like front grille design seen in international models such as the Fiesta hatchback. What differs is the striking new LED headlamp design. But then this is not likely to make it to production.

According to Ford India President Nigel Harris who unveiled the Figo Concept, we can expect the car to be fuel efficient and comfortable, with reduced wind noise. Specific care has been taken to ensure aerodynamic efficiency.

The car, at least in concept form, sports electrically adjustable OVRM which also have a flexible architecture that will prevent them from accidental breaking.

On the inside we can expect the Figo compact sedan to offer lots of space and innovative storage areas. It will also come with a multimedia system with built in storage facility to connect and charge smartphones, MP3 devices and sat-nav devices.
