It was able to overtake established models such as the Honda sedan to become the highest selling C-segment sedans in India. Its new Fluidic design, engine options and affordable price when compared with the Ford Fiesta meant it attracted a lot of people.
The Hyundai Verna is followed by another sedan in the list of most searched new cars. The Nissan Sunny can be considered as nothing but spectacular for its performance in the market. This is one car that has more than doubled Nissan's sales. Its affordable pricing, huge space and availability of both petrol and diesel engines make it a suitable city car. The Sunny has been Nissan's crowd puller and it continues to be so.
Skoda makes its entry in to the list of highest searched cars with its Rapid. The Rapid is Skoda's entry level sedan and the new car based on the Volkswagen Vento created a lot of interest among internet users. The new Skoda carries much of the technical specs and features of the Vento and yet it retains some of the qualities that are unique to Skoda. The Skoda Rapid's price in India ranges between Rs.6.9 lakhs and Rs.9.5 lakhs.
The top 10 in the lest of highest searched new cars in India is completed by the Ford Fiesta. The new Fiesta is the first car to have been built on the ford's global platform. Its new design and centre console have been hot topics of discussion among internet users. Ford has recently launched a new automatic version of the Fiesta.
