The Maruti Suzuki Swift was a hallmark model in the Indian carmaker's history. The Swift with its stylish design, generous interior space and peppy performance became the darling of the Indian car buyer within no time. Now Maruti Suzuki will be launching the new Swift on August and has already started receiving bookings at its showrooms.

A TV News channel has reported that bookings of the new Swift has already crossed more than 25,000 units. This is an indication of how successful the Swift has been so far. Maruti Suzuki has not even previewed the model here in India. The carmaker has also not revealed the price or the specifications of the new model. Such is the trust of the Indian consumer on Maruti Suzuki.

The new Swift's bookings were started soon after the carmaker announced the launch date of the new model. It also allowed people who had booked the current model with a choice of opting for the new model. This would have definitely helped in boosting the new Swift's bookings.
